Send an email
Your board has its own private address. Email it from your phone. The subject is the title, the message is the notice, and any photos attached go up with it.
It appears on your site
Within a minute the notice is on your website, in your site's own fonts and colours. You get a reply confirming it, and that reply is the controls: answer REMOVE to take it down.
It tidies itself
Notices come down after a month unless you write a date in the message: "until 14 October". Pinned notices stay at the top.
Nothing to log into
No app, no password, no content system. If you can send an email you can update your website. Only the addresses you nominate can post.

What you get
- Photos handled properly. A phone photo is four megabytes and sometimes sideways. It arrives on the board the right way up, sized for the page, and opens full size when tapped.
- Replace by resending. Send the same subject again and the notice is replaced, not duplicated. Reply REMOVE to any confirmation to take it down.
- Forward anything. An email from the county council, the league secretary or the diocese can be forwarded straight to the board. Signatures and quoted replies are stripped.
- More than one poster. Send "Add poster: name@example.org" and they can post too. Send "Posters?" to see who can.
- It matches your site. It reads the page it sits on and takes your fonts, colours, and light or dark, by itself.
- Nothing to log into. No content system, no password to forget, no plugin to update.
The honest bits
Only the addresses you nominate can post, and a forged address fails on the way in. Visitors can read the board; they cannot write on it. That is what keeps it a noticeboard rather than a forum, and keeps you outside the duties that come with one.
Notices are plain text with pictures. Bold, colours and layouts in your email are set aside; the board styles every notice the same way, which is what makes it look like part of your site.
Anything you post can be read by anyone visiting your website, and we say so again during setup. Keep the posting address to the people who post.
